Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin met with teachers in Van, where he went to make various contacts, at the program held at Edremit Evliya Çelebi Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (MTAL) Practice Hotel as part of "Teachers' Room Meetings". 

 

Referring to the importance of consultations with teachers while determining the road map, Minister Tekin said that as the Ministry of National Education, they are evaluating all opportunities to institutionalize the consultation culture. Minister Tekin said that they will make this culture much stronger with the teachers they came together with in every province they visit.

 

Minister Tekin stated that they will use all opportunities to raise the reputation of teachers in society. 

 

Teachers took the floor one by one and expressed their gratitude to Minister Tekin for solving many of their problems in a very short time after he took the Ministerial duty.  

 

Raising their ideas, suggestions and expectations, the teachers expressed their satisfaction that the problems in the provinces were resolved by the Ministry by listening to the field rather than the center.

 

Minister Tekin attended the concert themed "The Story of Folk Songs" performed by the students of Van Fine Arts High School at Edremit Evliya Çelebi Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (MTAL) Practice Hotel.
