Minister of National Education Nabi Avcı visited the Ulu (Grand) Mosque in the Sivrihisar Township of the Central Anatolian province of Eskişehir which has been restored recently. 

Minister Avcı visited the Ulu Camii at Sivrihisar and studied the restoration work which has just been completed. The historic mosque was built in 1274 by Eminiddin Mikail, a companion of Mevlana. The mosque was opened to prayers after a religious ceremony led by the Mufti of Eskişehir. Eskişehir Governor Güngör Azim Tuna and a gathering of guests accompanied Minister Avcı.
