Minister of National Education Nabi Avcı distributed 197 bicycles to the 5th, 6th and 7th grade students of schools that opened selective courses for sports and physical activities as well as “bicycle module” classes according to a protocol signed between the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Health. The minister also gave 200 bicycles to be used on campus at the Osmangazi University.

Speaking at the ceremony Minister Avcı said the bicycles were given to the school and students can used them taking turns. Saying the government intends to increase the number of bicycles being given out to student said “we are working to have all our schools and all our students make use of this program.” Minister Avcı chatted with the students and gave them a lesson on how to correctly ride a bike.

Minister Avcı thanked Minister of Health Mehmet Müezzinoğlu, the personnel of the Ministry of Health and the personnel of the Ministry of National Education for helping out in the Project.
